Trip to Yugoslavia and Morocco. 1949 Joins the art group CoBrA. Designs the third issue of the magazine and a poster for an experimental film festival. 1951 Moves to Paris.
1984 The Grand Priz National des Arts is awarded to Alechinsky in Paris.
