The Dutch artist and co-founder of the CoBrA movement (1948) is known for his poetic and spontaneous visual language, inspired by childhood and artistic freedom. After his early work in surrealism, he developed a gestural and luminous painting style characterized by abstract forms and bold colors. In the years that followed, he devoted himself to a personal, lyrical, and meditative exploration of the relationship between fantasy and mystery. His works can be found in major European museums and international collections.
